Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Cracker Barrel is a classic. Only suggestion is to rethink that HashBrown casserole Shepard Pie. Just not a good combination.Hush puppies the best I’ve had at a restaurant. Service was wonderful .

We hadn't been eating inside much because frankly I had a couple of morning servers that never checked on me after bringing my meal. (I was a server for 4 years, my sister almost 50 years so I know the crucial importance of customer service). However, we decided to try it again tonight and I'm so glad we did! Wesley was our server, and was top notch! He took care of us, was so very friendly and spot on with everything! I gave the food a 4 just because the cornbread was dry and a little crumbly like maybe it had been in the warmer awhile, and the pork chops were a tad tough (I had trouble cutting it with a steak knife). After all the big uproar about Cracker Barrel my friend wanted to stop in for pancakes. We were in the Branson area. Uncle Hershel was still on the sign, and the place was packed. I have to say this location was on point. Everything was good. They serve mimosos. The staff was great, rocking chairs still rocking, and the gift shop was popping, full of goodies. Long live Uncle Hershel!

Update: 3/7/2026 Jenny was our Waitress and she was AWFUL! RUDE to several members of my family TRYING to tell us how to Order! RUDE about Refills & Rolling her eyes when we Asked for Condiments or Grilled Sourdough Bread that we Never ended up getting! TRYING to Rush us off because she was getting OFF & Wanted her Tip! Food was ALL good, but Service was Atrocious! We were having a Birthday Party for my Grandson with 10+ people and Love Cracker Barrel, Normally! We ALL Regularly Eat Out & Hopefully you don't get JENNY as a waitress! *Love going to Cracker Barrel! Everything is Delicious! Restaurant is Clean and Helpful employees! I had ordered the Steak and eggs meal. It took them a few times to cook it well done corre try. I have never seen staff and managers so dedicated to make sure i was happy. It was so impressive. Where they might be concerned about losing a customer, I can guarantee them we will definitly be back. The steak was amazing with excellent and precise seasoning. I will order it again for sure.
