Customer Reviews
This Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is a good place to get a great meal. I did find some of the steamed broccoli a bit "soggy" but otherwise delicious. My lemon peppered fish plate was good. Maybe a bit "fishy tasting". I know it is fish but in past experiences, this has not been the case. Our waitress, Jocelyn was the best ever!! She waited on us frequently to see if we needed anything. I also had a great view of the fireplace. Very well decorated.
Beyond disappointed. The food was disgusting. Fried pickles were burnt. The cornbread was so cold that the butter would not melt. The fries were hard and cold. The chicken tenders were dry. The pintos had been microwaved and the turnip greens were cold. Mac and cheese had a foreign object in it and the catfish smelled awful and the color was all wrong. Huge waste of time and money. The server noticed that we did not eat our food and he apologized. He explained that he didn’t want to bother the manager because she was already stressed due to the sycamore view location closing. The managers need to worry about keeping this location open
We recently placed a catering order for my mom’s birthday. Upon arrival to our 5 pm pickup we mobile check in for curbside. After waiting outside for 15 min we finally decide to go in. They can’t find our order or the order information in the system. The clerk finally realized she needs to look under catering and they were able to find the order information but they had not made any part of the order. They start to make our order while we were there and they didn’t take the time to prepare it like a catering order is typically prepared. It usually comes packaged well in a nice box with utensils and what not. It was haphazardly packed in bags and the biscuits were placed under the green beans. We get home an hour later than expected (we waited an hour for the food in total) and when unpacki
Okay. Let's start from the beginning of what we thought would be a great breakfast. We checked in at the podium as was told it would be an estimated 15-minute wait so we go outside to the classic rocking chairs and chill. 20 minutes later, we go back inside for a seating update. We're told that right after we checked in, the staff had a "kitchen issue" & was told to tell any guests that it would be 30-45 minute wait time. Huh?? We'd already waited 20 so okay. About 15 minutes later, we're finally seated. Looking around, we notice the empty tables and the multiple servers that were standing around and we conclude that whatever the issue was had nothing to do with waitstaff shortage. Our server with her 4 stars on her apron (that part becomes significant later) finally approached after about
Received wrong items on my order. One person in our party didn't get her food until the rest of us were done eating. The server seemed flustered. Blamed it on the kitchen staff being new. $5 take home meals were not available, per the server but later found out from management they were. Got 2 of them are they are such small portions it's ridiculous. I attached a picture showing the amount of Mac n cheese you get in the take home meal. It wasn't even enough to fill this small 2oz ramekin. If you're gonna advertise "take home meal" at least provide a few bites of the food. I added broccoli and bread to make this a meal.
