Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Quick service although rather busy. Friendly, accommodating staff. Our group had several breakfast options--all were delicious. Highly recommend starting with the cinnamon roll skillet. Good value. Favorite place for country breakfast with many options. Only suggestion I would make--always struggle whether to get a breakfast with biscuits and gravy or something sweet like pancakes or french toast--Have a breakfast that includes 1 pancake or 1 french toast in addition to biscuits and gravy or have an add on for that. Also, all syrup should be heated. Love shopping in the store. Usually great variety of cute decor and clothing--especially for kids.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Our food was absolutely terrible. A friend and I went to the Fairmont Cracker Barrel expecting a decent meal and we were seriously disappointed. Right away our table was loose and wobbly which made the place feel old and poorly taken care of. It took over 30 minutes just to get an appetizer and when it finally came out it was ice cold. Then we waited another 20 minutes for our meals and somehow those were ice cold too.The only good part of the whole visit was our server. She was friendly patient and clearly doing everything she could while the rest of the restaurant struggled. She kept checking on us and trying to make the wait easier. Typical cracker barrel, with semi-antique themed decor and gift shop. Fare is corporate cracker barrel, good prep and presentation on par with others-fair priced American style comfort food. Bathrooms need some attention, could be cleaner, but tolerable. Oct2024 update... Friday night, no wait, good service and food. New shepherds pie was quite good, although meat and veggies weren't evenly distributed like Mom used to do. Men's bathroom still smelly but tolerable. Cute associated country store that the wife and kids like to wander in. Recommended! Dec2024 Rapid attention from server for lunch, but long wait (30 min) for the tepid but tasty food. First time in 3-4 years. Breakfast was very good. Pancakes and French toast were really well done. Great tasting coffee! Lydia was really kind and patient, wonderful service. Will not hesitate to return sooner.

Haven't been to C.B. since I can't remember when but with a gifted card in wallet and C.B. on restaurants next exit sign we decided to stop for lunch. Was crowded parking lot but just 5-7 minute wait for table. Atmosphere was nice,not too noisy for lunch rush. Waitress was very cheerful in a quiet way,food came quickly. Fried chicken was good,call it 7 out of 10 but I'm picky. Wife really enjoyed her tenders. Would go again,sooner still with another gift card.
