Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

It was my first time at a cracker barrel. Food was hot and omg comfort food. Gift shop was amazing!! But down side is our server was very short with us and not friendly at all. He gave the minimum. Everyone is entitled to a bad day but for a first time customer it was kinda disappointing.

You may or may not be a Cracker Barrell fan, but I think the breakfasts are terrific, big variety, eat it anytime of the day. I generally have leftovers and they give me a to go cup. Food was great, service was great, place is always clean.

Fried food mecca. The deep fried pickles were very salty. The chicken fried shrimp were amazing and my husband enjoyed his fried catfish.

We have been to Cracker Barrel a few times and the service has been great at times, and sub par the others. The negatives are not bringing the biscuits out until the meal. Also not being attentive on refills or not bringing the condiments asked for. Overall this is a great place to eat, and we will be back, because the food is phenomenal!! Great for the kiddos! My daughter loves the vegetables, and tries chicken and new items here. Enjoy!

We were quickly seated and our order taken. Our food arrived fairly quickly. The fried chicken breast was good, as were the green beans and hash brown casserole. Hubby had the catfish filled, and he said it was excellent. The restaurant was COLD inside, however - I had to keep my coat on, as did other patrons -- but husband says im always cold. It did make a big difference when they put some wood in the fireplace, though.
