Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

⭐️⭐️ We enjoyed the food, but the service was disappointing. The young woman at the front was polite and helpful, which we appreciated, but the kitchen was loud and disorganized. My order, scheduled for pickup at 8:38 PM, sat in the back for over 20 minutes before I was called. The meatloaf was burnt, likely due to the kitchen being distracted, the carrots were bland, shrimp and trout were cold, and the pinto beans had clearly been sitting too long. Cracker Barrel used to offer reliable service—this experience fell short.

Really nice staff and very good food. You get a lot of food here for a decent price. My family and I love this place, we visit it all the time. Shout out to Calla, she was my waitress last time I visited and she was super sweet, friendly, and took great care of us. (Cold Spring KY location.) Don't mind how small the food portion looks in my 2nd photo, I already ate half of it before I remembered I wanted to take a photo LOL

I had breakfast with a friend and it was great! We were seated promptly and brought our drinks. We ordered breakfast and the food was brought out quickly too! Our friendly waitress, Liz A, checked on us regularly and kept our drinks full. We asked for to go cups and she hooked us up. Thank you Liz! We will be most certainly be back!

The cold spring Cracker Barrel doesn’t get half of the reviews it deserves. Not every day can be the best day, but the volume of guests on any given day speaks for itself. People love to come here. You can FEEL why people love to come here the second you enter the building. From the exceptional retail staff attentively welcoming you in, to the vibrancy found in every available inch of the dining floor on a Wednesday afternoon, you cannot help but to smile along with the sea of shinning faces, both employee and guest. Several months removed from here due to sub-par experience. Very pleased to say this visit was exceptional. Our meals were delicious and our server, Loren, was so personable and very attentive. Manager was wonderful and my wife also bought a lovely blouse. We will be back soon!
