Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We got the grilled catfish and it was good. The pinto beans and collard greens had no flavor at all! The biscuits were very good but the cornbread was also dry and bland. The server we had was excellent! So friendly, attentive and quick! She made the meal wonderful. Her name was Tougie. She deserves a raise!!

We have a family tradition to eat at a Cracker Barrel Old Country Store on every trip. We enjoy the quality of the food for either breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The service is always very friendly, with team members working at CB for 18+ years. The store is always a nice way to relax while you wait. This time we ate at the CB in Clemmons NC (CB0247). Ruth was amazing! Above and beyond service, with a very positive attitude, and smile. Our meals were the Campfire Beef, Grilled Chicken, and Lemon Trout. All excellent! My score a perfect 5.0.

Every Cracker Barrel Old Country Store We have been to has good food. Not gourmet dining but good Southern Country cooking. For me what makes the difference is the level of service we receive. This store has good service. Our order was taken promptly and the food was served in a timely manner. This is not always the case in our experience, but this store was spot on.

Cracker barrel is usually one of my families favorite places to eat. But....this location was really off their game on this day. The waitress was super nice very accommodating. First off our food was cold and dry. Mashed potatoes were so cold I had to cut them with a butter knife. The chicken was dry and also cold we couldn't eat them. We're not that family that complains about food we were raised to be thankful for what we have so when we asked the waitress for to-go boxes she asked and my wife told her the food was cold and dry so the waitress earned a very big tip. She took everything we ordered except the drinks off the bill and we only paid for drinks. I'm sure this location is normal good it just wasn't on this particular day.

Cracker Barrel is well known by the RV community for their hospitality towards us - they tolerate overnight parking in their lots and all that they ask in return is that we consider making a purchase. I'm usually arriving too late or departing too early but this visit was the exception. We had breakfast this morning! A warm welcome from the hostess after we did some browsing in the store and then we were seated immediately. A friendly waitress took our order and a few minutes later, returned with coffee. A refill of our cups later and breakfast arrived. French toast for Mrs. K. and eggs with bacon for me. Delicious, cooked properly and plenty of it. The biscuits were just the right fluffy, chewy and a bit of salt to go with the little pot of blackberry preserves. Yum! Thanks, CB. I still
