Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Great as usual! When we travel Cracker Barrel is as reliable as it is good! I've been in a lot of these up and down the east coast and it's safe to say the rarely disappoint me. This one was great as usual. Love the food, the atmosphere, the clean bathrooms, the products in the country store. Introduced my grand daughter to Necco Wafers and she loved them. The service was a little slow but it gave us more time to talk. The waitress was kind and knowledgable of the products.

I haven't been to one of these places in years & it did not disappoint! We ordered the Grandma's Sampler. The food was great and prepared just how we ordered, even our eggs whites! The potato hash was a bit more cheesy than I care for but otherwise, the food was tasty. Our server, Bailey was hospitable & sweet. The dining area was clean & well kept. I still love the rustic country charm. Reading the nostalgic memorabilia that hangs along the walls and playing the table games. We shopped in the store & got some candies. It was a great time!

Cracker Barrel Braselton – A Pleasant Breakfast Stop Off I-85 We stopped by the Cracker Barrel in Braselton on a Saturday morning around 8 AM, expecting a wait—but to our surprise, we were seated immediately! That alone was a great way to start our visit. The decor was exactly what you’d expect from Cracker Barrel—warm, rustic, and nostalgic, making for a cozy dining experience. Our server, JJ, was outstanding—truly a 5-star experience. Not only did they take our order promptly, but they also brought out a fresh basket of biscuits while we waited for our meals. Biscuits and Gravy was served before the meal it came with. The Gravy was cold and to thick. Grits came with the meal. They were cold, and had large lumps in them. Ordered decaffeinated coffee. 1st cup was ok. Refill definitely was not decaffeinated. I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese. Eggs were served without cheese. I had to send them back.

We went around 11:45am for lunch and it was not very busy. The server was very nice, but the food was horrible. My daughter ordered mac & cheese and it came with black stuff all in it. They say it’s because of how they bake it, but they shouldn’t serve that at all it was disgusting. The pancakes my other daughter ordered were delicious. My Son ordered the saucy chicken sandwich But it didn’t have any sauce on it. I ordered the chicken with okra and fries. Okra was cold. Fries were burnt and cold and the chicken was very dry. I grew up eating at Cracker Barrel but Going within the last few years because it wasn’t good anymore. We wanted to give it another try and it was a big mistake. We won’t be back. Portion sizes are extremely small. You hardly get any food for what you’re paying.
