Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Haven’t been to a Cracker Barrel in years, so we stopped at this location for a nice breakfast. The menu seemed a little confusing to me. But our server Missy did an awesome job explaining it and helping us order. She was very nice, helpful and took good care of us. Food was hot and very tasty. They also have a very kool store attached had very nice items to purchase.

Stopped in for a quick dinner with my husband on our way back from visiting the UP. The hostesses who greeted us were very friendly and entertaining...off to a great start! It was before 6pm, so we could get an Early Dinner Special. We both decided on the Beef Tip Dinner, which included two Country Sides. We both chose the Hashbrown Casserole and then I had the steamed broccoli and my husband the green beans. For me, the Beef Tips (very tasty sauce, but the tips a little tough) and Hashbrown Casserole were too salty. Unfortunately, my broccoli was under cooked, but the green beans were tasty. The cleanest Cracker Barrel that I have been to in years. When you walk in they have a full staff on a Friday night at 6 pm.We ordered 2 pot roast dishes, mine came in a skillet with mash potatoes and topped with their cheesy potato casserole. Service was great, manager checked on us. So fast. The entire visit took 30 minutes.

I haven't been to a Cracker Barrel in a very long time. We stopped at the Bay City location on our way home from a weekend away. The parking lot was PACKED, and we expected a long wait for a table. We were shocked when the three of us were seated immediately. We also didn't have to wait long for our server to come to our table, or for our food to come out. We all loved what we ordered. The chicken noodle soup was AMAZING! I've never been to a restaurant that was so busy, yet so efficient and attentive.

I love Cracker Barrel! I don't get to visit one often so it is always a treat. Great food with huge portions and the staff is always pleasant and polite. I tried the baked apples and they are my new fav. Love to see more vegetarian options too.
