Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I mean obviously the past few weeks have been rough for Cracker Barrel but stupid moves by corporate couldn’t take away from me enjoying an awesome meal. The food was great and service was amazing. Will definitely be back!

Heather was our server did a wonderful job. Our sticky buns were not as advertised. Nothing like the picture. Not a good presentation. Temperature was tepid at best not warm and gooey. Heather did take them off our bill.

My wife and I really enjoyed the majority of our meals. However, my bacon was not cooked completely. It was rubbery. When I asked for another order that was cooked all the way, I was brought over-cooked bacon. Also, the atmosphere became so smoke filled that staff had to open the side door to allow smoke from the fireplace to escape. Our waitress was nice and courteous. We will not be returning.

This was the worst meal I have ever had at Cracker Barrel. They forgot my soup and when they did bring it it was only half way filled. The green beans (which are my favorite) were straight out of the can (I am not exaggerating). I asked the waitress and she said nothing has changed and didn’t offer to check. My chicken wasn’t grilled like normal either. Service was bad. They were extremely busy and I don’t think they had enough people working.

Had a great breakfast. Food was good and came out quickly for as busy as they were. The gift shop is always fun to look around and reminisce. When you can't decide whether you want breakfast or lunch this is the place to go.
