Menu items are great, baristas are rude on a regular basis. I always say thank you when they hand me a drink and they never even look at me or give me the time of day. Recently, I had a drink made incorrectly, a drink that I order regularly. I ordered a large and they gave me a small, I politely told them I ordered a large, they took it back and I watched them just add a bunch of milk and blend it for a couple seconds then hand it back to me. It was incredibly watered down, didn't taste like it had a double shot, or the addition I paid for. Didn’t taste like what I usually order at all. I waited in line again to go back to the register to ask nicely for it to be remade (I never ask for things to be remade). She said well, unfortunately a large is just going to be exactly like that, those a
Hands down the best coffee ever! The flavors are incredible. I ordered the Honey Badger with cayenne pepper, and it was amazing—such a unique and delicious combination. The coffee shop is absolutely adorable, and the store next door is just as charming. A great place to stop while in Big Sky!
I don’t know what happened at Cowboy Coffee Co, but the hot chocolate I was served was genuinely one of the worst I’ve ever tasted. It somehow managed to be both watery and cloyingly sweet at the same time — like someone waved a packet of cocoa mix over lukewarm water and called it a day. No richness, no depth, no real chocolate flavor. Just thin, sugary disappointment. For a place in a ski town where a proper hot chocolate should feel comforting and indulgent, this was the opposite. It didn’t warm me up — it just made me regret not going literally anywhere else. If you’re craving real hot chocolate, save your money and your taste buds. This one misses the mark entirely.
The Snickers Latte was superb! My husband and I both ordered this drink iced with whole milk. While the atmosphere was cool and the aesthetic was spot on the staff member taking orders made us want to leave as soon as we got to the counter.
I frequent this coffee shop every time I come up to Big Sky from Bozeman. It’s usually pretty good, but yesterday I got a cappuccino with very burnt espresso. I was already on the road back to Bozeman when I took my first sip. With coffee drinks as expensive as they are, I decided to call and ask for a refund. I left a voicemail, and they got back to me and issued me a refund for that drink. Stand up attitude and great service!
