Cowboy Cantina

My boyfriend and I went in for our date night. We ordered food and drinks. Drinks were amazing food was too. However the kitchen had a mix up and our meal came out 40 meal late, but the manager was delightful and made it right. Our server was wonderful as well. Excellent customer service as a fellow hospitality gal I had the best time even with the small hiccup

We liked this restaurant and the menu, but maybe we expected a little more of a “cowboy/saloon” setting. It has a cowboy theme, but still looks mostly like any other modern restaurant. The menu is good and prices are fair. We liked the vegetarian options on the menu, including a Beyond Burger. Service was fairly good. Our food was very good, but not particularly unique or interesting. We will return again sometime to give it another try.

First of all who orders a steak with green chili gravy. However, when you’re wanting a steak, you have no other option but to order it this way. Whatever happened to a good old fashion ‘steak’! Well, don’t come here if that’s what you want. I specifically asked for the sauce to be put on the side and of course, they put it on the steak. It was kind of gross and added nothing to the steak. That was their first mistake. I also asked for a loaded baked potato as one of my sides and was told that’s not an option even though the menu says they have loaded baked potatoes. But whatever. When I went to eat the baked potato, it was the grossest thing because it was yellow inside and not fluffy as a baked potato should be. The potato looked, smell and tasted as tho it was day old baked potato. When

Cool-happening place that just moved into The River in Feb ‘25. I never been to the old location but this is one has a very modern atmosphere. The staff is very good and friendly…we got to know the owner, manager and the two bartenders, Ryan and Michelle. They are very knowledgeable so talk about drinks with them if you are in the bar area. Plan to come back for dinner so stay tuned but the drinks were awesome and ask for recommendations if you don’t see any you like on the menu. Great place to come have drinks for sure!

We ordered the chicken wings and the cheese dip and brisket fries. The meat on the brisket fries was very good, actual fries were mediocre frozen fries. Rhe chicken wings were so big they seemed unnatural and I found the meat had a bit of a funny taste. The cheese dip was just so so. Our server was very good but I would likely choose any of the other eateries at The River before I went here again.
