Covered Bridge House Bed & Breakfast

We absolutely love the covered bridge house! Weve stayed while skiing at attitash over the last 15 years. Rooms are cozy. Breakfast is delicious. Everyone is so so friendly!!!

We have driven by this inn for years but finally stayed for 4 nights during foliage season. It was just what we were looking for after years of trying many other inns in the area. The common areas are cozy and comfortable. Breakfasts were tasty, varied and kept us satisfied for hours! Our room was very well appointed and had a great shower! We especially enjoyed the outdoor seating along the Saco and took advantage of the lovely fall weather to enjoy a glass of wine there each evening. The inn is very well situated with plenty of nearby dining, shopping, trails. Dan and Nancy run a lovely inn!

My adult son and I stayed in the Covered Bridge House’s 2-bedroom suite. The beds were comfortable and the inn very quiet (we were there on weeknights with only 2 other rooms rented the first night and one other room rented the second night). The bathroom is across the hall but used exclusively by the suite occupants, and was not a hassle or awkward at all. The room and bathroom were spacious, and each room in the suite has a separate door accessing the hallway for additional privacy. Dan and Nancy are gracious, friendly hosts with a generous breakfast to start the day — the weather allowed for a garden patio start to the day and we enjoyed the quiet backyard after hiking, wading in the river (with tubes available to float down the river if you’d like). We loved our visit to The Covered Bridge House. It was so tastefully decorated and very homey and comfortable. It felt like home away from home. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was hot and strong, always a plus in an overnight stay. They thought of everything you might need as far as amenities. The breakfast was a stand out. Home cooked and delicious in a lovely dining room. The yard and river was peaceful and restful with chairs to relax in and tubes to float in the river. The hosts were friendly without being obtrusive. Our all a wonderful stay.
