Coventry Parlor at Laurel Locks

Very old school style. Very comfortable, nice welcoming staff. Food menu is simple but the food is awesome! Just be careful bc food adds up in the bill. Definitely worth a visit. They have icecream as well.

This was the best ice cream I have ever had, and the seating area is always clean, on the top of all that good stuff the people treat you like you are family. I will be coming back for as long as I live in the area great shop! And keep up the great work.

They usually have good breakfast but today our omelet had burnt potatoes as evidenced by this picture. The peanut butter and jelly French toast was good though.

Food: So in my order we got 2 Mushroom Swiss Burgers, 1 double bacon burger, an Apple Dumpling, a Fruity Pebble Macaroon, and creamed chipped beef. Usually when I go to a place like Coventry Parlor, I order a Mushroom Swiss Burger because it is quite telling of how a businesses menu is if they succeed or fail in cooking a mushroom swiss burger. Well, somehow this place didn't just fail, it bombed, BIG TIME. The burger was bland and dry, like it had sat on a frier for far too long and ended up having every ounce of its juices squeezed out of the meat. The mushrooms were cooked to a point where they had a rubbery texture to them. I think the best part of the burger had to have been the swiss cheese and the (crunchy) bun. My mate had gotten the Double Bacon Burger and had the same issue,
