Cousins' Restaurant & Saloon

We like to have lunch here when was pass through from Washington to Salem, Oregon. The folks were always friendly, the food has been good. It did seem that we waited way longer than our previous visits for our order. The square bread, biscuit.... it crumbles like cornbread, but also feels like cake. Im confused. No taste. I had to add the butter to it to get any flavor. Took our leftovers with us but left that piece of bread.

Loving the new remodel! This place has been a family favorite since it opened. Four generations have enjoyed eating here. We love the servers and so glad we still get the animal sounds when we walk in. 🐓 🥞 🍪

12/16/25 Good service. Their version of the benedict was a bit rivh for me. Yes, the coin operated riding horse works.

It is absolutely the best food and atmosphere. When you come in the bell on the door is a rotating sound effect of farm animals! Rooster crow, cow moo, etc. Antique tractor on the dining room and I always stop in the gift shop and buy some of the unique gifts.

Two visits now, and everything has been great both times. Steak & eggs, cinnamon roll french toast, hash browns, the biggest strawberry shortcake of my life… everyone is friendly. I love this place.
