Courthouse Inn Bed & Breakfast

My family was visiting Clarksville to see a local landmark built by our ancestors. We all stayed at the BnB in 3 rooms. The host was very accommodating to our needs, schedule and requests. The beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed being able to stay together in such a beautiful home. Porch swings were so nice for sitting in the evenings and listening to the courthouse clock tower bells.

The Courthouse Inn is 1881 Queen Victorian Style Bed & Breakfast that's been restored. There are 5 guest-rooms w/ daily housekeeping. WiFi & parking provided free.||I stayed on a Sunday night. The host & the home were incredibly warm & inviting. The Shannon room was my choice, after a tour of the whole house. Every room was full of architectural & antiquity wonders. Amazing wood workmanship. Surprises in every nook & cranny. Friendly exchange while having my breakfast cooked then shared. I had a good night sleep here. The caretaker met me at the door when I checked in in the evening and upgraded my room to the governor suite since I would be the only person staying there that night. She came back the next morning and feed me a hot breakfast. Several of the rooms include Jacuzzi baths. Much of the furniture is antique. Pieces. It’s truly a great place to stay.

Stayed here on 15 Oct as we began a 2-week vacation. The home itself is beautiful and historic, though obviously a challenge to keep such a large structure immaculate inside and out. Communication was very good with the owners/rep, and our late arrival was no issue with a note and key at the door for us. Room was adequate and clean, though the overall house could use a detailed deep cleaning, as there was evidence of partial/incomplete cleaning, dirty dishes and laundry in the kitchen, etc. There was an issue with the service provider who normally provides breakfast and she did not show up, so we did not have a breakfast the morning we departed. That was unfortunate, as that is obviously a big part of a B&B. We did receive a partial discount, but were disappointed in the experience. Overa

This is such a lovely and charming old house. The decorations and furnishings are positively exquisite, and the updated bathrooms make it so comfortable and relaxing. I wish I could spend a night in every room. Perry served us a delicious breakfast. He was so kind and accommodating, and really goes the extra mile to make sure his guests have a great stay. The experience is an EXCELLENT value for the price! Highly recommend!
