Country Pride

My wife and I have made this one of our regular restaurants to visit. The menu variety is good and the food has been about average. We really like the salad bar selection. Its probably one of the best salad bars in the area.

Pretty good sized salad bar with lots of items. Chili was great. Good and hearty on a cold day. Beats fast food Good sized entrees with some that have salad bar included. French fries were served hot and good seasoning. Food came fast. Waitress was great and friendly. Pretty reasonably priced.

Breakfast was outstanding! Omlete was so fluffy and seasoned just right, toast was perfect and chewy not burnt...just how my Mom would make it! Service was excellent and so very friendly. It was so nice to be greeted by friendly faces.

So we arrived this morning for breakfast. I haven’t been to this establishment in years due to moving away and was excited to bring my girlfriend here. Unfortunately after seating ourselves everything began to take a very long time. After 15 minutes we were able to put in our order which seemed awfully long seeing as it was not overly busy. My girlfriend ordered coffee with a biscuit and gravy, I ordered a long haul. We sat and watched as four other tables sat and ordered and then received their food prior to us. Finally after watching them have plenty of time to finish their meals I decided to ask how much longer till our order was ready. The waitress told me she’d ask but then never came to let me know the wait time. It seems as if our order was lost because we definitely were skipped in

We went to Country Pride to have dinner. I realize it was 10pm and close to closing time, but the salad bar was not replenished, it was out of a few things. We ordered our food, the only thing we enjoyed out of the 4 different meals we ordered were the pancakes. The burger my son got was so greasy that the entire plate had a layer of grease, his fries were soaked in the grease and therefore he didn't eat them. I ordered the grilled chicken dinner, off the menu. I recieved fried chicken and was told they don't offer grilled chicken, even though it is on the menu. I was not offered another meal instead. I ate the few things from the salad bar that I could and left hungry.
