The waitress was very nice. The food was absolutely atrocious the coleslaw had some kind of hot sauce in it that made it too hot to even have a spoonful of. Literally the worst coleslaw I've ever had in my life. They took my wife's biscuits and gravy back and took it off the bill without even asking because she couldn't touch it it was like flour water with diced sausage pattie chunks in it. My friend's wife and I both got the fish dinners and they were atrocious could not even make it through a few bites it felt like the fish had turned already and he had just washed it off and battered it and threw it in the fryer. I get fish dinners everywhere I go , it's my favorite meal, and I always have coleslaw, and I have to say this with the single worst I've ever had. The fish had turned it was

The menu was amended this year 2025 and the quality is no longer homemade comfort country pride food, it is boxed commercial food that is over processed. This place used to be a go-to on a fend for yourself night because the food was homemade, comforting, and really good! It is understandable that in today's world, businesses have to reduce overhead, 86 items that aren't selling, and other costs that don't provide a return,, but the supplier they are using is sub-par. I'll be honest I don't even know or need to know the supplier or suppliers. Service is typically experienced, quick, and friendly. They have staff that has worked there tenured. The train doesn't really run anymore, I assume because almost all the train pro shops were taken out by 2020. The larger side of th parking lot is po

In recent times the food quality has taken a noticeable nose dive and you can tell way more stuff comes in frozen and pre prepped than it used to and it’s insanely unfortunate. Restaurants love to claim nobody can notice but yes we can. The wait staff here is still very accommodating and friendly but I’m not going to continue to eat somewhere just because the employees are good, I also need the food to be good. I really hope more people speak out about this and they find a better solution.

Food tasted great, and was fairly priced. The waitress was extremely polite and checked back often for drink refills and anything needed. Atmosphere was not the greatest only because the only other customer in the place was coughing and sneezing and talking to himself every 30 seconds. Other than that it was great

I am 46 years old, and in 46 years that was the absolute worst food I have ever had a restaurant. I didn't complain, we just paid our bill and left. But 3 out of 4 of us could not our food. The fish was very obviously expired. My biscuits and gravy was so bad I didn't eat more than 3 bites. The waitress took it off the bill without me asking so 5 star to the waitress. Last thing was the extremely high prices for the extremely terrible food. All in all, I would give it a ZERO starts if we were allowed.
