Our Server, Deana, is AWESOME! She is so down to earth and to top it off, the FOOD IS OFF THE ⛓️!!!! I had a smoked sausage omelet with onions, peppers and mushrooms with Home Fries and some Damn goos Sweet Tea! It's a true Mom & Pop Brick & Mortar so do sleep on this Hidden Gem!
My wife and I stopped by Country Kitchen, yesterday, for lunch, after it was recommended to my wife. My wife had chicken and dumplings, fried squash and green beans. I had country fried steak, fried okra and cole slaw. All of our food was delicious. The owner (I'm pretty sure he was the owner) came to our table to check on us. He was pleasant , personable and informative about all the menu items. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very homey and comfortable. I highly recommend Country Kitchen. We will be back.
Packed full and had to wait for a table. One finally opened and I had to hurry to claim it because another group that had just arrived was trying to sit down. They definitely need a seating order since I saw a timid couple sit in the "waiting area" while others came in and took the table they were waiting on. Service was slow but very polite and considerate. Food came out at different times so it was awkward to eat while others at the table waited. No issues with the food. Tasty as always. Next time I'm going to try that GIANT pancake. (I imagine I'll have to take my own peanut butter. How can you eat pancakes with it?)
I loved the small town country feel of this space. In one area a Bible study class was happening. In another area was a family just being together for breakfast. The bologna was superb and thickly cut. I needed an IV of their coffee. I had 4 cups. So good! A must try for local foodies. Try the deep crusted pancake for about 5 people. It's a monster! Check out my photos...
Food was seasoned and flavorful. Great price point. Friendly staff. Clean. It was 10:50 and they were out of biscuits - we went for breakfast. Disappointed but not a deal breaker.
