Country Food and Furniture

We found this place by mistake working in the area. They have really good deli sandwiches and donuts 🍩 😋 the portions are huge and the price is just right. We are going to try there breakfast sandwich today. Update: I had a breakfast Sandwich ! Egg, Ham with jummin jack cheese on sourdough bread 🍞 and it was delicious! Hubby had Biscuits and gravy, very flavorful. Really nice furniture up stairs. & tables and chairs to eat at if dining in.

6/25/24 Update: I'm a little disappointed that after the move to Amelia & initially having Saturday hours they've gone back to having work week hours. Makes it hard to get there which I haven't visited but once since the move. Best place in central VA! Sandwiches are still the best in the state & everything they offer on their menu is incredible! I do wish they were a little closer as it's an hour round trip from my house, so I have to make a visit count!

Very kind staff, efficient teamwork, excellent food selections, customizable menu, portions easily make leftovers, fast service, high quality homemade food & handmade furniture. Love this place!

My go to. Was so nice just 5 minutes away when they were in powhatan, but worth the 25 minute ride to their amelia location.

My husband and I love this place.The atmosphere is charming and sweet. They have the best brownies and sandwiches which are well worth the thirty minute drive we make. The staff is endearing and accommodating and the store is very clean and neat. If you're ordering a sandwich, the sweet pepper relish is a delicious add-on.
