We were visiting from NC and family took us to this place. It was delicious! I got the ribeye steak and fried shrimp combo, a 10/10. My husband got the bacon wrapped sirloin which was also delicious. The chicken sandwich and the burger also looked really good. Our waitress was very attentive and took good care of us. Overall it was a great visit and we will be back the next time we are in town.

Amelia’s Kitchen in Amelia Courthouse, Virginia is definitely worth checking out. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and full of small-town charm, yet with a menu that rivals any big-city spot. The food was nothing short of amazing. We started with the onion bloom, which came out golden, crispy, and seasoned just right. It was the perfect appetizer to share, with each bite packed with flavor. The shrimp and crab dip was another standout. It was creamy, rich, and full of fresh seafood flavor. You could taste the quality of the ingredients, and it paired perfectly with the bread served alongside it. For the main dishes, we tried a little bit of everything. Was told this was the place to go by a client. Stopped across the street and saw the "Open" sign was lit. So we came over... only to find it was closed til 11am. Edit: Thanks for your response. So, what you're saying is "We turn the light on at 9am even though we don't open for 2 more hours." Noted. I'll pass on a visit. Notice I did not rate the Food, Service or Atmosphere. I prefer establishments that pay attention to detail. Lack of that in the Open sign leads me to doubt that attention will be paid inside.

Had an absolutely fantastic dinner with good quality food and excellent service! My server Elena was wonderful from start to finish! She had a friendly, welcoming energy while always making sure drinks were filled and all needs were meet!! She even double checked the ingredients on meal items to make sure I could have them with my allergy. All around a fantastic job by Elena!

I've eaten at Amelia's Kitchen several times, both for dine in and carry out. The food is great. Some of my favorite menu items are pizza, crispy chicken sandwich, and the salad with grilled chicken and strawberries. I love the updated atmosphere with stone work and a modern fireplace. Our server, Elena, took great care of us. We will definitely be back soon!
