Absolute best chicken fried steak in Temple!! From the moment I arrived with my family, we were treated like we had come home. The staff was very polite (Thanks Kelsey!!) with prompt service. Every plate was beautiful and delicious. This is a great spot for business, family and friends to enjoy.

We usually do takeout, and usually the food is excellent. A few nights ago tho, I ordered the small chicken fried steak. Usually the steak is thin and tasty. This time the steak was thicker and chewy, and more breading than steak. Also no gravy. It was a very busy night, hopefully next time you guys will do a better job!

My perfect experience at Cotton Patch Cafe happened today. My server Makayla was amazing and was probably the best server I have ever had. From the moment I walked in the door I was l greeted quickly and taken to my seat. My server was super attentive with her great personality and genuine interest in taking care of me. I received my order quickly and the food was perfect. Such a great experience. I haven't eaten there in a long time I'm glad I went there. My lunch was perfect, the staff was wonderful. It was so good and was the best home cooked meal I'v had in a long, long time.

Really great experience all around today at Cotton Patch! We all individually commented on how great our server Elliott was - genuinely friendly, attentive, and swift. And the food was excellent! I had rolls at another location recently and thought they y'all had changed the recipe. Today they we're as delicious as I remembered them - soft & fluffy. A+++

First time visiting this establishment. Greeted promptly and seated. Waitress, Makayla, was quick with drink order and provided excellent suggestions and responses to inquiries. Makayla was attentive without being overly attentive (something I personally appreciate). Food arrived promptly and hot. Fried mushrooms were on-point. Chicken fried steak with jalapeno gravy was amazing. My friend said his fish basket was really good. Will definitely return if I find myself back in Temple.
