I ordered the pork ribs, and they were absolutely delicious. The meat was incredibly tender and literally fell right off the bone, true comfort food with that soul-food warmth. Even better, the portions were affordable, which made the meal feel even more satisfying. For sides, I tried a few different dishes: Mac and cheese: Really good, creamy, and comforting. String beans: Flavorful, though a little on the salty side. Rice and gravy: Simple but very good, the gravy tied everything together perfectly. Overall, this meal definitely hit the comfort food and soul food spot. Great flavors, tender ribs, and budget-friendly pricing made the whole experience worth it. I’d happily order this again.

My husband and I came here to Corinne’s place to eat after coming from the Aquarium which is about less than 10 min away. It was our 1 year anniversary and we wanted some good soul food. When I tell you the food the service was top tier, it is rear to find a soul food restaurant where everything is good! We were impressed with how fast the food came out to us. Not only that but it was fresh and nice and hot! Ms. Corinne is so sweet and she made sure that her and her staff got us everything we needed. Thank you Ms. Corinne , we will be taking that 1 hour ride again. We had a wonderful experience. 10 out of 10 we recommend!

The food was amazing and you get a big portion, so it is hard to eat it all! Those turkey wings were amazing and fell off the bone. If you can see, I went in before my picture. lol The staff was very kind, also. Thank you. I will return when in town. 😍

Stopped at Corinne’s this past Saturday with my daughter and Gal Pal after throwing out the suggestion cause they wanted soul food out of choices given. Me, I’m no stranger to this gem. First time was over 30 yrs ago on a date! Well….these women with me put a hurting on the food you see pictured here. Everything was fresh, delicious, comforting! Service was fantastic. Best part? Seeing Corinne herself! Looking ‘fly’ as ever, chatting up memories of ‘back in the day’, Holmes Lounge memories, dancing to wee hours in the morning. This one really hurts. I’ve been going to Corrine’s for about 3 decades. It’s provided some of the best food and customer service I’ve experienced. Unfortunately, since the ownership has changed hands the food quality has changed as well. Let me say that the food was consistent when the ownership initially changed. I would still see Ms. Corrine there being a guiding presence. However, it seems like somebody else is making decisions about consistency when I went 2 weeks ago.I ordered 2 of my longtime staples: a catfish platter and a smothered pork chop platter. 1.
