Simply amazing! Our little town has needed a good doughnut shop for quite some time, and to have one that is a sub station of Cops & Doughnuts, the famous Claire Michigan Bakery, is outstanding! On my first visit, I was greeted with very friendly staff, who were helpful to help me decide what to get. The place is not very large inside, but don't let that fool you, they have a large assortment of doughnuts, eclairs, cookies, breads, and more to choose from. Get their early, because things do sell out thought the day. The sour cream cake donuts were amazing! The jelly filled ones also will not let you down! And these are not little donuts! If you like doughnuts check this place out in Alpena. Great selection of doughnuts and baked goods along with some good coffee. They also sell bags of coffee in store and have a nice selection of baked goods and other items in the shop. Nice way to surprise your family for breakfast!

Delicious Fresh Doughnuts. Bought some munchkins donut holes for the kids and they loved it. I can’t wait to come back and try the one with bacon. Thank you to the friendly owner who took her time to tell me the flavors and fillings. You guys are amazing. 💕

Major yum! So happy to have a place in Alpena to get doughnuts and baked goods. The doughnuts from Cops & Doughnuts are delicious and fresh. There’s also an array of other baked goods such as cannoli, sweet bread, turnovers, and Michigan products such as olive oil, chocolates, and dried cherries. Great, cozy spot in Downtown Alpena and super friendly staff!
