Copper River Grill

Everything was tasty on a cold winter's day. I had the burger-I'd get it medium well, next time-but it was very good! The burger was huge and my husband had to help me eat it. He got ribs and chicken fingers. I tasted the chicken fingers and they were pretty good, need some seasoning. He said the ribs were delicious, even though the BBQ sauce was sweet and he likes smokey. It is so cozy in here with soft benches and a 360° fire place so all can see.

Stopped in for lunch, got the grilled chicken tenders and a sweet potato and they were so good! Our server was very sweet and attentive. The restaurant had a nice interior. I recommend going at lunch, other times it can take longer to get a table and the service can be a little slow.

My wife and I had Valentines dinner here. Very good food. Waitress was very polite and helpful.

Ordered dinner to be ready by 8:00 pm at 8:54 am. Called to let the young lady know I would be a little earlier and was told okay you can wait here. No problem. I asked if she thought it would be ready by the requested 8:00 pm. She said yeah I don’t know maybe. We have a wait. Not sure if she was listening or not because I was calling about a pick up not a reservation. Phones are very crucial to business growth and maybe someone else should be answering the phones instead. Love the food. Love the restaurant but you got to do some training on the phone. I understand you get busy and have a 100 things going on but service should not lack due to being busy. That’s all.

We came in early on a Friday, and there were only a few people eating. There was no hostess, and a number of staff walked past us, so it took a little bit for someone to come acknowledge and seat us. Once seating the staff was very kind and answered all questions. They even gave us a little history of the restaurant. The food was good quality. The portion sizes were good. The prime rib sandwich was quite dry. The pepperoni pizza dough seemed a bit undercooked, but the flavor and toppings were good. The hamberger was quite good and cooked the way it was requested. I did love the onion fries they were so yummy. The nachos were overwhelmed with blue cheese, so all other flavors were a bit lost. The inside is absolutely beautiful and rustic.
