Luna's Coffee, Wine, and Butterfly Cafe

Stopped in at Luna’s for lunch and I tried the blueberry jam & Brie sandwich, with a side of their brussel sprouts. The sandwich could’ve benefited from more Brie or a savory flavor to balance the sweetness of the jam. The brussels sprouts salad was a bit too tangy for my taste, making it difficult to finish. I also ordered a matcha latte with ube flavoring, which didn’t quite meet my expectations. Unfortunately, I didn’t finish my drink. On the bright side, the cinnamon roll was a true standout! It was absolutely delicious and saved the day for all the other flavors. Luna’s has a charming atmosphere and friendly service, but I don’t think their food is quite up to par.

✨ Hidden gem alert! ✨ I stumbled on the most unexpectedly adorable spot less than 10 minutes from the new farm, and I have a feeling it’s going to become a regular stop for me. Luna’s Coffee, Wine & Butterfly House is tucked behind a gas station (easy to miss if you don’t know it’s there), but once you step inside it’s all charm—great coffee, tasty food, a thoughtful wine list, a solid bourbon selection, and beautiful decor. Even better, they’ve got a seasonal butterfly house that just makes the whole place feel magical. 🦋 And if Olivia is behind the counter, you’ll walk out with more than just caffeine—you’ll leave smiling and ready to take on the day. If you’re ever in Lexington, trust me, this is worth the stop. ❤️

This place is adorably cute. I was recommended it by my daughter so we had to try it out and it did not disappoint. Great food, great atmosphere. Way busier than I thought it would be but there was no wait and service was quick. And everyone was very pleasant. Definitely will be back there are more things I want to try. We were celebrating my best friends birthday and had the pineapple jalapeños margaritas and the Monarch margarita both were very tasty and we had the roast beef havarti sliders. Soooo good. Thank you for a great experience.

5/17/25 My husband and I stopped in at Luna’s for a casual weekend breakfast and were impressed. We shared the salmon board on jalapeño bagel bread and it was delicious. It was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We also ordered a couple of coffee drinks, and they came out quickly and were made just right. You can tell the baristas care about what they’re doing here. The ambiance is part of what makes Luna’s so special. The space is small but charming. Kinda quirky, cozy, and full of personality. It feels like a hidden gem, the kind of place you want to keep coming back to. Service was friendly and efficient, and everything we ordered came out promptly. We’ll definitely be back in the near future. Gotta try other items from their menu and maybe check out more butterflies 🦋

My friend and I went here for the first time today. It is in a nice area. The area seems like it is up and coming. There’s a lot of new buildings and businesses. There is plenty of parking. It is free. It is very clean. Once you walk in you grab a menu and order at the bar. There is an area to purchase things, such as books, cards, mugs, etc. There is plenty of seating. There is also outdoor seating. We both ordered the cinnamon roll waffle. It was delicious. I got an iced vanilla latte and my friend got a coffee. We shared a charcuterie board. Everything we had was delicious. The staff were very friendly and our food and drinks arrived quickly. They do have live butterflies but they weren’t there today. They told us it will probably be a couple of weeks before they have them. There is a g
