Cook's Grill

It's a little hole in the wall with GREAT southern cooking. It's one of those places people try to keep secret. I got the loaded fries with shrimp. Flavorful and cooked perfectly. Best sweet tea I've ever had, not to sweet with just a little tang.

We were pleasantly surprised when my husband found this place. As we pulled up to this cute little building, we noticed the cotton museum next door! Unfortunately, it was closed. However, as we walked into Cook's Grill, we were greeted with beautiful smiles and a variety of options to choose from. We chose to buy 2 cheeseburgers, a tilapia sandwich, fish and fries (tilapia and flounder), shrimp tacos, chilli/ cheese fries, and strawberry cheesecake parfaits. All of the food was delicious. Our favorites were the cheeseburgers, cheesecakes, and shrimp tacos! Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, and Lemonade to drink. Decent prices. Parking was interesting, but doable. You can stop here if you have an RV, but you would need to just pull off on the side of the road to order.

I was recommended to Cook's Grill in Bishopville by a coworker, so I decided to give it a try. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the place was clean and well maintained. My food came out in about 10-15 minutes, just like they said, which was nice. I ordered the catfish, but unfortunately, it was pretty greasy and didn’t sit well with me. Maybe it was just my meal, but I don’t think I’d come back. Still, I appreciated the good service and quick turnaround.

The food was freshly made to order. They were pretty busy so it took awhile to get our order. We had catfish sandwich with a side of shrimp, a shrimp combo, Philly cheese steak, garlic parm wings & a chef salad. Cashier was friendly.

I decided to get a chef salad with no ham. The customer service was welcoming and warm. I didn't wait at all for my food. My food was extremely delicious and will order again. Indeed pleased. I highly recommend you guys try the chef salads!!!!
