Cook Out

No dine in, just walk up and drive through. Food was amazing! Peanut butter shake was a winner. Onion rings were big and beefy and perfectly fried. Not rubbery and not burnt. Just right. The burgers are fresh and juicy with plenty of customizable toppings.

Oh my goodness…. This chicken sandwich is insane. Seriously if you like a good chicken sandwich, you must get one at Cook Out! We were on a road trip and saw this one pop up near the highway and that was that. Important note: This particular location is drive thru and walk up window only, no inside dining. We were on a road trip so that worked just fine for us!

It is as advertised - just like cooking in your yard. Prices were okay, food was okay, service was okay. Drinks were to the rim with ice, so there was only a sip or two of actual beverage in each cup. Portions are smaller than similar restaurants, but the price is appropriate for the size.

Restaurant has a 100 score from the health department but also has a roach reading the inspection sheet with me. I had to throw my meal in the trash. After taking one bite from the burger I felt very ill for the remainder of my 14 hour road trip. I had to eat charcoal to settle my stomach the next day as I was in intense pain and discomfort the entire time with extreme diarrhea for the entire vacation. I don’t recommend stopping here. My wife and I have been to many cookouts in 5 different states and never had an experience like this.

2nd time at the location while traveling. Monday 1/26/2026. ordered jr tray.small burger,onion rings and nuggets. only thing hot was the onion rings. the burgers as supposed to have "everything". it only had mayo mustard and tomatoes they charged $0.10 extra despite they were out of onions. burger was cold and shriveled. customer service was lacking.
