Conway County Library

Our local library has a depressingly low selection of children’s books. Many of them are dirty and old. They no longer participate in the Gateway Program, which means you cannot get a library card in Conway (or anywhere else) to have more variety— you’re just stuck with the few shelves of books we have here. Our children deserve better than this.

Great place love the things they do for summer break kid's enjoy making crafts having pre teen, teen nights for the older kid's and a few different groups for the older adults great DVD selection and Blu ray plus you can rent a fishing pole to go fishing have a good program for kindergartens to enjoy reading so go check out a book, movie and see what's going on at your local library

They are helpful and very nice

no one is a bigger proponent of the library industry than me. i love libraries; i've frequented them my whole life. that being said, this is by far the worst library i've ever been to. their policies are antiquated and the entire system is archaic. it seems like it's operated under the guise that going in there is a privilege instead of a right. it wouldn't hurt to reiterate, worst library I've ever been to.

After considerable dedication, the women of the Morrilton Pathfinder Club received funding from the Carnegie Foundation to finance a library for the city, becoming the smallest in the south to qualify for such an honor. Designed by architect Thomas Harding, the Conway County Library still operates in its original building and celebrates its centennial in 2016. It was listed on the National Register on April 15, 1978.
