CONRAD'S DRIVE-IN SEAFOOD

I love this place! It has an old fashioned outdoor setting with picnic tables, and on the other side of the parking lot a beautiful pond where some ducks and geese gather together. The take out has a variety of food choices for everyone! Fresh fried or broiled delicious mouth watering haddock. The shrimp, scallops, clams and lobster are as fresh as if you caught it yourself directly from the ocean! However it has the BEST SEAFOOD AT A GREAT PRICE. The price range is above and beyond Reasonable for the fresh delicious seafood, they have chowder and hot dogs and so much more on the menu! The chowder is delicious. The onion rings are homemade, so are the french fries. Better then going to the beach! Also one can top of their delicious food with ice cream they have a variety of choices. A g

We were visiting the area and on our last night. We called right as he was about to close for the night, and he stayed open to make our order, even though it seemed like he had a long day. Excellent service to start. We got the order to go and everything was delicious! The fried clams and halibut was cooked well and still crunchy after the 20 minute drive. The star, though, was the lobster roll. The lobster was abundant and cooked PERFECTLY. We got them hot and served with butter. While visiting the area, we had 3-4 lobster rolls and this was the best we had. Highly recommend!

We dined here this evening and had a great meal. My brother-in-law, who has lived in the area his whole life, said out of the three similar places in the area, he enjoyed this one's food the best after the meal was over. The service was great and the girl taking our order was very flexible in helping us make changes to the meal when we ordered incorrectly (if you want fries with the lobster roll, make sure to say 'lobster plate' not 'lobster roll'). All the food came hot and delicious. Lobster rolls are served on a croissant, which is an awesome idea. A bit messy to eat, but great flavor! We especially enjoyed the clam strips with their tartar sauce--even my sister did and she doesn't typically like tartar sauce. The fries, both regular and sweet potato, were very well cooked. Good seafood and friendly service. The fried clams were not too heavy and the cole slaw was great without being too sweet. Prices were reasonable for the area and everything tasted fresh. A good summer spot.

The fried whole belly clams and french fries were great. The clams were fried just right as were the fresh hand cut fries. The owner was very friendly. Old school diner/counter experience with old school quality food and service!
