Connie's Restaurant & Saloon

We were staying nearby on our honeymoon road trip and decided to pop in here on 9/9/25 for a quick easy bite and a game of pool. They were busy busy but their staff were busting their tailfeathers getting everyone taken care of. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff were so friendly and enjoyed meeting other couples, played some pool and had a bite. It was a 2 min drive from the cabin/lodge we were staying at, so we appreciated the closeness too! Thank you to the staff!

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat. We had green bean fries, spaghetti and wedge salad. All was very good.

They were busy the night we visited but we got seated quickly and the staff were all great. The chili was good, and my husband liked the chicken and noodles. But as many others have mentioned, the star of the show is the cornbread! I wish I had gotten some to go! It's fluffy and delicate and the cinnamon butter is just the right touch. It melts in your mouth! They are busy and short staffed, like so many places. Be patient and get the cornbread!!

Place was almost empty. Waiter finished wiping down all the tables before getting our drink order. Food was all FRIED! Fish came out COLD in the middle. I wouldn’t waste your time or money here!

The food, service, and atmosphere were amazing! The Prime Rib was cooked perfectly. The waitress we had was attentive and promptly met all of our requests. This restaurant is a must if staying in the area! Thank you!
