Beautiful spaces and a great local community meeting place. Welcoming atmosphere and interesting colonial architecture. A must-see if you are visiting Concord, MA.

The library is very historic, has great architecture and a large selection of books. It also has a nice modern children’s area!

Amazing library. Great area for the kids to play. Events happening daily for them. Beautiful areas to study quietly. Tributes to the literary giants of the city found gere also.

Awesome library with great resources and spaces. A real sense of history here with courteous and helpful staff.

The center of civilization. A statue of America's Philosopher King, Ralph Waldo Emerson, sits at the front entrance. On the side entrance, the transcendental figurehead and inspiration for women, Louisa May Alcott, has a bust almost with a life of its own. The book selection is diverse. You could spend a whole day here just browsing several floors and subsections. The librarians are courteous and informative.
