Compass Cafe

Love this place! The staff is so nice and they definitely take time to make sure your food and drinks are good. Also super great that they have it attached to a rooftop and a yoga studio so you can sit and enjoy your drinks or you can have a fun yoga class and get something to eat after.

Definitely my favorite spot to be! Delicious coffee, smoothies, and snack options. The chia bowls and bagels are so tasty! Also, the smoothies of course! All of the smoothies are made with real fruit and taste so good with the protein added. Pre-ordering is such a bonus, especially for after yoga class! Compass Cafe always hits the spot and has such a great atmosphere. Very cool vibe with super friendly and inviting staff. I always feel welcome when I'm there. I love that the building is dog-friendly, and you have to catch a sunrise/sunset on the rooftop!

What a wonderful little cafe inside the yoga studio! This place is easy to miss but super super worth finding! First, it has some incredible beans from western Carolina for both drip and espresso, smells and tastes delicious! The smoothies are both nutritious and yummy, my favorite has cold brew in it for that extra kick :) Every time I come in the staff is super friendly and helpful. And for vegans - great news! They have some great options here! The smoothies all have an oat milk base, the protein powders are plant based, And they have bagels by D which are awesome and I cannot get enough of them. You can even get your hummus or avocado toast on a bagel and it is way way way too good not to get every day 🫣 (Make the avocado toast vegan by replacing the Boursin cheese with hummus!) So g

What a vibe! This is a coffee shop/ yoga studio/ yoga clothes and crystal shop. Theybjad some very unique finds here. I wish I could give a 4.5 but gave a 4. The Coffee could have been a bit better. The barista was a bit off with ratios. I think she was still learning or nervous due to another lady in the shop with her. This place has 4 floors. A basement with a sitting area and a sauna, the middle/ ground floor was the yoga shop and coffee shop, the top floor was a beautiful yoga studio and super clean bathroom, and the rooftop was where it looked as if they do yoga and social events. I'd say they would need to add lights or a strip to highlight the step up/ downs. I went on a super bright sunny day and almost missed a step, but this place was beautiful. One of my favorite spots for a smoothie or coffee! The staff is very friendly and the location is clean. I love when the pink haired barista is working because she’s such a sweetheart and always makes me feel so welcome. Definitely a great spot to visit in downtown Southern Pines!
