Community Library

This basically the best library I’ve ever been a part of. The staff is so kind and helpful, and it’s clear that actually love when children are there! The children’s books feel so much more appropriate than many other libraries I’ve been to. Overall, this library is a great resource, beautiful and always clean. I’m so grateful for this library! Thank you to all of the staff! Keep up the good work!

VERY CUTE little library! It's not too small, so it has plenty of options. It's not too big so it's not too difficult to navigate. I love that the computer usage is free and the printing is cheap! Definitely makes printing accessable to all community members. I appreciate their return policy, it's not too stringent and really allows patrons to be responsible for their own returns in a timely manner. The staff are so friendly and helpful! Every time I visit the associates are always smiling and welcoming. They even taught me about the Hoopla & Libby apps!!! Will DEFINITELY be back to visit very soon!

Closed on Sunday. The Children’s area and programs are limited. There are so many new/young families residing in Galena/Sunbury. I would love to see more effort and funding allocated to the children’s space. I recommend increasing the offerings of story times, adding a designated play / coloring area - similar to the libraries in Granville, New Albany, Westerville, Dublin, Bexley.

Love our community library and all that it offers. Not only is the library full of books and movies to check out but they have a wonderful children’s library, meeting rooms that can be reserved, as well as workshops and classes, some of which are offered on a recurring basis. There is always something new and exciting to explore there. Summer of course offers the reading challenge for all ages and this summer they had food trucks parked outside on certain days! I look forward to what the library offers in the future. Oh, staff is friendly and helpful as well.

The library is so nice and welcoming! Even after the Corona virus, they have friendly and helpful staff! The librarians will actually come up and talk to you. They have lights on in their building. They have toys for children to use. They have computers with touch screens and summer reading programs with fun prizes. Everyone was so nice! What a breath of fresh air!
