Common Grounds Coffee House

If you came in on 1/11/2026, I was that annoying bride taking up half the dining room with her friends and family after just getting married. We quite literally had just walked off a mountain into this coffee shop. We might have been too loud for 8 in the morning in a Sunday, and we might have stayed a little too long, but we weren’t made to feel like that whatsoever. The staff was so friendly and fast, and the vibe here is exactly what you would want from a coffee shop in Payson, AZ. It’s cozy, warm, and the food/drinks were absolutely delicious. All of my friends and family were raving about it. Your hospitality and service was so appreciated and loved. Common grounds, you will forever be apart of our special day and I could not have picked a better spot for hot drinks and a bite to eat.

I wish I could give this place 6 stars! The staff is like family and they always go above and beyond with the drinks. Today we got a latte that was just as tasty as the art was pretty. And a new concoction - a mango blackberry Italian soda with a vanilla soft top. Don’t miss this gem!

Cool spot to sit and have a coffee. Bagels and pastries are nice and fresh and the hazelnut latte is very good. They have outdoor seating if it's too crowded inside. Will definitely be back.

Hands down the best bagel I’ve ever had!! So soft, chewy, crisp on the edges, it was a delightful snack after my hike! I loved their Georgia Latte & outdoor seating as well. Great spot!

We love Common Grounds! The Local Bee latte is incredible, as are the baked goods which are all locally made. The staff are very attentive and also patient and kind with my toddler, which always means to much to me. The space is very comfortable as well- great spaces for working, a small couch area for meeting friends, and the patio is lovely! Lots of tables, and options in and out of the shade out there. The best coffee shop in Payson, and a wonderful asset to our community. Big shoutout to Kyla and Tom, the managers, for their leadership!
