Comella's Restaurants Hingham

Whenever we’re craving Italian food, Comella’s in Hingham is the first place that comes to mind—and for good reason. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and the staff couldn’t be nicer. On our most recent visit, I had the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo and my wife ordered the lasagna. Both dishes were superb. The Alfredo was creamy and rich without being too heavy, and the chicken was cooked just right. The lasagna? Changed the chicken in your chicken broccoli Alfredo and its nasty now. Like a frozen chicken cutlet with no flavor at all. Absolute ripoff, tastes like it came from a hospital cafeteria. Used to be very good.

Food was okay. Got take out. Wish the portions were just a bit bigger. Got spinach Ravioli with one meatball, steak & cheese Calzone, and a large Cannoli. The calzone was burnt a bit, and smelled like burnt pizza when we opened the box. But all in all the food was good.

We stopped by with our whole family after a long day in town. Popped off the ferry and stopped by for dinner. The food was fantastic - came out quickly, was flavorful, and good portions. The kids meals were a hit, and the messes were a highlight! But the service was worth its own review. The two young ladies manning the bar and the counter were working at double time, filling orders, getting waters, pouring beer. It was a great experience, the patio was great for the kids, and we’ll definitely be coming back!!

Excellent. Fresh, delicious, fast. Tried garden salad, turkey club, cannoli and tortellini. Great experience.
