Beach House at Hingham Bathing Beach

After never eating here, i heard good things from 3 or 4 people, incl my daughter, so i had to try it. The lobster roll was great both times. The fries were good, but we skipped the seasoning, as recommended by a friend. The views are spectacular. The chowder was way too thick and the only thing we didn't like.

You’re gonna need to get one of everything at this place. We did! OK not really but we did get a lot of different items and every single thing was delicious. Do you not miss: the smash burgers (we tried a few varieties and loved them all) they are the best we have ever had, lobster, roll, the fish and chips, the fresh and delicious watermelon salad and the corn salad, and the genius combination of crispy french fries of different shapes combined with tots!, plus chowder from Stars. Some of us were too full for ice cream, but others enjoyed the treats. wonderful service at the window, clean restrooms, plenty of parking, terrific view. Do not pass up a chance to enjoy a quintessential New England meal at this gem!

Decent lobster roll for taste but was very overwhelmed with the lobster portion especially it was advertised as LARGE lobster roll. Very little lobster and a lot of lettuce underneath for $30. I think you can way better in neighboring towns and so much better.

A local spot with a simple, pleasant menu: beachside surf n turf. Takeaway window tucked in the corner of Bathing Beach's parking lot. Friendly staff greet you, remember your name, and share their honest favorites. Focus on house-made: burgers, fresh fish, lobster, ice cream cookie sandwiches. The spicy fish wrap delights, each bite with crispy cod, spicy pico mayo and lettuce. Next time: fish n chips. The cod in the wrap foretells this dish will be gold. Eat in your car or find a bench beside the shore, front row for sailboats.

I always forget this place exists but the food is so good! The chicken Caesar wrap is one of the best I’ve had. Great place to grab lunch with a friend and eat it by the water on a picnic table. Share an icecream sandwich for desert! I also thought there was great attention to detail in all of the packaging and presentation.. was definitely impressed!
