Food is very Very good. Wait staff professional. I recommend the food. The reason for Not 5 stars is the older lady at the front who is unpleasant - so, first impression was lame. She acted offended that we didn't have a reservation then when the younger lady said "33 is available" she questioned her several times. She said OK. Then i turn to walk toward the table and very sternly and orderly she informs me that i need to wait for her to take us there. I'm thinking, fine, she's in a lousy mood taking it out on customers. I told my Mum that we went and the food was great. She responds by telling she won't go back there because of this grouchy, unfriendly lady at the front... My Mum went there several years ago. I was working in MA and wanted to just go and see. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. It was kinda pricey but it was literally the best freaking meal I've ever eaten in my entire adult life. This was years ago and I still think about my 2 hours in this place. I just ordered appetizers at the bar and it has had a lasting impression on me. About service, about presentation about how food should be enjoyed. Although I went in a fan of marky mark I'm an even bigger fan of this place and his brothers cooking. Omg, it's so good I'm still thinking about it. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation or just go-you won't be disappointed. You will leave with a great memory and a full belly. Can't say enough good things about this place, I'm so happy I went. Amazing. Crabcakes for one

Great Dinner at Alma Nove in Hingham. Beautiful waterfront restaurant with awesome food. Our appetizer of homemade meatballs on a Crostini reminded me of my Nonna. The steak tenderloin was presented on a garlic mashed potatoes and was cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding. Our first time there and it will not be my last, I’m looking forward to going back again Chuck and Denise.

I came to eat on the evening of 3/28 and the atmosphere was beautiful, the service (from the hostess stand, to the server, to the server assistants) was awesome, and lastly the food was top notch! My experience started off by walking in and being welcomed by 3 lovely ladies at the front and sat fairly quickly and smoothly. The woman who sat me was very sweet and welcoming. She made me feel like she truly cared and had such a warm smile. My server (Kerri) came by shortly after I was sat and got the ball rolling for me. I came in already having studied the menu online and having a game plan besides which wine would be best with my duck. We had been there before after another funeral and had an amazing experience so I really wanted to go back there. The food selection and quality is superb, and it is a nice light and bright place.After a grim funeral. Bill was THE MAN! He was absolutely so gracious in professional. I was astounded at the quality of his professionalism. Wow!!! All my gratitude to bill and maggie for going out of their way to make our request possible when their restaurant was already jammed.
