Comanche Homestead

We stayed for a long weekend for our son's wedding and this was the perfect place for us! It had lots of bedrooms but best of all, it had lots of big beds to accommodate couples rather than smaller kids. The peacefulness of this country home was great but it is also very close to town for the dozens of trips we had to make. The owners came by to greet us with their friendly dogs. They welcomed us to enjoy the property and wildlife but our favorite visitor was a black and white cat that loved to be loved. We hope to be back in the future someday!

I had the best birthday weekend at this cabin with 10 of my friends! We enjoyed the scenery it offers, from the calm peaceful atmosphere, to the horses, the llama, lake and the stay. We had a minor issue with one of the restroom and he came right away. We were able to use the kitchen and make meals. Pretty close to downtown and restaurants. I’d love to come back and stay, it’s all worth it! It’s perfect to forget about the city and enjoy the country!!

Stayed here recently for a girls trip. The pictures and reviews are VERY deceiving. The entrance to the location is old and rickety, the sign says “bed & breakfast” but that is NOT the case in this instance. We had the whole house to ourselves, but man oh man was it an adventure. DAY 1 we had 2 bedrooms with spiders inside the sheets tucked in, that required all bedding having to be washed. We had to spray for insects and clean the bathrooms prior to using. Day 2 we killed scorpions on the staircase. The carpets were filthy. Cobwebs everywhere, & stale odors. We found weird pottery inside closets and the wall decor still had price tags on them as if they were bought right before our arrival. If there were more than five stars I would select them. The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. All the comforts of home. We were there for a friend's birthday weekend. The hospitality of the owners was beyond measure. We got to feed baby goats and horses.We picked fresh vegetables out of their garden. Maverick the boxer was such a gracious host and so much fun to be around. Thank you Danny and family for a wonderful experience. I'll never forget my time spent at the Homestead!

We had a wonderful weekend with most of our family at this beautiful cabin. The owners were so nice , friendly and helpful. We enjoyed interacting with their little goats, pups and a friendly black and white kitty. The property is so peaceful and beautiful.
