Columbia County Library

I love this library! It’s clean and a lot of places to study. The only thing I recommend is to bring ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones because most days are louder than others both up and downstairs unfortunately. This is due to events hosted at the library which are fun and very family friendly but schedule a study room if you need a really silent place but they fill up quick. The staff are also friendly and helpful.

We LOVE the Columbia County Library. They have a huge children section with a lot of different kinds of books, graphic novels, manga, etc. They also offer a lot of different activities for kids including reading rooms, tablets, coloring areas, and various workshops. They have an entire area dedicated to teens, and another for adults. They also have a cafe, meeting areas, a park, and local artwork displayed everywhere. This place is also very clean, well organized, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Great selection of books etc. The parking is below columbia county standards. Too few handicap spaces and not near enough to the main entrance. An improvement is needed for book returns. You should not have to have the library open to return books. Return boxes scattered throughout the county would be helpful.

I love this library specifically because of the book club I attend there. We have such an amazing group of members who love sharing their passion for books, sense of community, and comeradery. The library offers a largeettimg room for us to gather as well as several other meeting rooms for other purposes.

In the heart of Evans, the Columbia county serves as not just a great public library, but a place where people from all ages and backgrounds can come together and enjoy various art and media together, as well as partake in live shows and various clubs. Wide variety of physical books available to read, as well as media such as movies and old cassettes. There are various book reading clubs and event art clubs, as well as a cafe inside. Right outside the library is a large park with a small amphitheater as well as a playground. Definitely a highlight of Evans and Columbia county.
