My mother fell in love with the General Store and decided to have my baby shower there. The owner Mary is delightful, creative, accommodating, and very detail oriented. Our guests raved about the food, the quaint and unique atmosphere, and were so impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of the service. It was a beautiful day thanks to Mary and her staff. Every single aspect of the party had a thoughtful touch, which made it very special!

We got food to go and didn't have the best experience. We got the breakfast platters. 1 French toast and 2 eggs. The breakfast was okay, but the potatoes were absolutely disgusting! Was not worth that price!

After a long wedding weekend, I finally found a breakfast sandwich that hit the spot! Food: my wife and I both got BECs but I really enjoyed the volume of food and how actually delicious it was. I always do mine with chipotle/spicy mayo and the mayo actually had significantly flavor to it. Service: everyone from the food counter to the front was so nice! It was such a pleasant experience. Ambiance: this is one of the cutest general stores I’ve seen in NJ. Perfect during the fall and I love the separation between store and restaurant.
