Colonial Express Cafe - Bites, Beer, Ice Cream & Drinks

This is such a cute spot to grab a bite to eat on your way into or out of the park. Your park tickets will be active all day, so you could take a break for lunch here between hikes. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the ingredients are delicious and fresh. We also got chocolate milkshakes with our food, but we demolished those before we thought to take pictures.

We asked a few park staffers at the Natural Bridge across the street about lunch options but they only mentioned 2 sit down restaurants that were each a short drive away. Fortunately we noticed this small deli (apparently recently opened) right across the street / visible from the N.B.Park parking lot (probably walkable). It was perfect for us traveling with the kids and dog, maybe 4 simple sandwich options customizable for preferences. They have ice cream too but we didn't try it. Fast service, everyone was happy with their meal, I really appreciated the freshly chopped vegetables, and we were on our way to the next attraction (Dinosaurs!) in no time.
