Cold Stone Creamery

I am so disappointed with the Cold Stone location in Sugar Grove. I ordered an Oreo cookies layered cake on January 30th. In the picture, it showed the cake covered with Oreo cookies stacked on top. I also asked the employee, if he could add a birthday message. He agreed, and the message was simple: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY [NAME OF THE PERSON]." When I went to pick up the cake on February 5th around 1 PM, I noticed there were only three cookies on the cake. When I asked about it, he said, "Oh, because of the message, I didn't put more cookies." I was really upset because he did not mention this limitation at the time of my large cake order, and there was plenty of space around the message. He then offered to add more cookies, went inside, and returned with three more—but he broke the cookies in

The birthday cakes are great, but the customer service has been poor. Even though their website claims "If you’d like, we can even personalize the top of the cake with a custom message." we have found this is not the case at all. The last 2 cakes we bought from this location for birthdays they have refused to write a message for us. If you're not going to provide a service please don't advertise it.

Just ordered not too long ago for pick up and my order was messed up. Asked for chocolate chip cookie dough and I got chocolate chips. My other order I asked for extra Oreos and that didn’t happen either. Never coming here again. Not to mention I even left a tip and couldn’t get my order correct.

I just picked up a birthday cake for my husband and made the ten minute drive home. By the time I got home it was looking melty so I put it in the freezer for 40 min. When I pulled it out it had fallen apart. The cake was also very disheveled, uneven and lumpy. The green “frosting” left all us with green mouths and faces and tasted chemically. It was supposed to be peanut butter and we couldn’t taste it at all. There was broken up Reese’s cup on the top. The writing on top looked like the color wasn’t mixed in well. And the look of it was just terrible and disappointing.

It's been so long since I've had Coldstone! The Signature creations are out of this world! I had the birthday cake remix and I highly recommend it! Staff was very friendly as well!
