Cold Stone Creamery

We ordered the “Create your own” quart for pickup. We got cake batter ice cream with brownies, yellow cake, rainbow sprinkles, and fudge topping mixed in. Something we’ve gotten several times from the Hamilton location. Online ordering was easy and it was ready at the time we chose. It wasn’t mixed very well, as you can see in the picture some of the mix-ins seem just placed on top, and the mix-ins were sparse, but it was still good. They are brand new so it will probably take them some time to work out the kinks. The store was clean and welcoming and they were packed. Wishing them well! Hopefully we don’t become too “regular” of a customer!

Cold Stone Creamery never disappoints! The ice cream is super creamy and full of flavor, and I love watching them mix all the toppings together right on the stone. The whole experience is fun and delicious every time. Big shoutout to Tyler — he was awesome! Super friendly, patient, and made our order perfectly. It’s great to see someone who clearly enjoys what they do and makes customers feel welcome. Thanks, Tyler, for making our visit even better! Highly recommend stopping by if you’re craving a sweet treat!

****Edited my review from 4 stars to 5 stars. I went back again and they had changed their tipping system to more realistic numbers. Super happy to see that they fixed what was possibly a glitch in their system due to being a new chain store.*** Ordered ice cream here, and was delicious. Had no complaints with product. The part that I found “icky” was come payment time. I ordered an ice cream that was $8.99 (Expensive, yes. But I knew that going in there). Then it asked for tip like typical in these establishments. However, this one did NOT request percentage tips. Rather, it requested tip in $5, $10, $15 increments instead (no percentage provided next to amount). It also had a small button to add custom tip amount underneath. I’m sorry..I consider myself an above average tipper…usually

DO NOT GO HERE Actually disgusting how dirty the place was. I saw someone mop the floor with no soap and just warm water they poured on the ground with a pitcher. I saw them rinse off their hands inside of the water they put the scoops in along with them using dirty spades to make ice cream on the stone they barely scraped off from the previous order. The ice cream was barely mixed at all and the employee seemed to be speaking in a foreign language to another employee with them constantly giving glances at me so I can only assume they were crap talking me. The tipping part was what really annoyed me as they ask for flat tip rates instead of a percentage so if I ordered like $8 of ice cream, i can only tip $5, $10, $15 and the button to do custom was blocked off so i just peeled it away t

I personally feel that cold stone franchise is just getting worse will all the locations. This one is particularly not good because they don’t mix it well it’s like they just toss it on the platform which is not cleaned from the previous flavors btw, then they just mush it like 1.. 2… and that’s it. When I asked the staff to mix it little more they just made a face and started talking bad about me and my mom in a language very different. They seem to have a bit of an attitude but whatever. Will try some other brands.
