Gold Star

Truly one of the best Gold Star locations! Always fast and SO friendly. Such great customer service. Chili is always good, burgers are great, chicken sandwiches are great. Can't say enough good things about this location. Luckily I work nearby so I will continue to visit regularly!

Basic gold star food,Would rated is higher if I wouldn’t have heard a staffer yell put more spaghetti in the microwave! Kinda killed it for me

I can't say enough great things about this place. It's my absolute favorite, and I visit quite frequently. I didn't realize Gold Star had cheeseburgers until a few years ago, when my husband brought some home for dinner, along with milkshakes. As an amateur cheeseburger connoisseur, I initially had my doubts, but was pleasantly surprised- It was one of the best cheeseburgers I ever had and boy, was I hooked! The burger platters also come with crinkle fries, which can be upgraded to chili cheese fries, among other options. The milkshakes are made the old fashioned way with real ice cream, so please tip if you can (especially in the drive thru) because they're hand-dipped and a little time-consuming. Gold Star has some of the best great tasting chili!!! As a native Texan we do not have Gold Star restaurants in our great state. If we did, I would definitely make it one of my favorite places to eat. This location is very clean inside and outside as well. This Gold Star is located in a busy intersection and its means of egress is very accessible to the major highway. I highly recommend Gold Chili for your next meal if you are craving chili.

If you haven't tried their burgers yet, you are really missing out. This has nothing to do with Cincinnati-style chili. The type of burgers are thin and are somewhat like Freddy's, but much better. Now for a little about chili. As far as chili goes, the cheese coneys at Gold Star are the best Cincinnati-style I've had. I like all the ones I've had, but this ranks #1 for me. Try the burgers if you haven't - and if you have then I hope you enjoy your next one like I will! The crinkle cut fries are great, too! Update 4-27-2024 Had a burger and a Coney tonight. It's still great! Update 12-19-2025 Got a double cheeseburger and fries for dinner. Still at the top of the heap for fast food burgers.
