We stopped here on our trip back to Jersey. The place was nice and they have a pretty good breakfast menu with good options. I ordered the raisin pumpernickel sandwich and it was really good and fresh. Service was quick and the food was satisfying. Definitely a good stop for breakfast if you’re in the area.

Went here for breakfast. The staff were so accommodating. The food was amazing. Traditional breakfast with a Latin American flare. Subbed chorizo for sausage and elevated the sandwich so much. Loved it so much went back the next day.

Keeping it real since 1920. Definitely felt like a trip back in time. The raisin pumpernickel was good and the peanut butter on toasted banana bread was the bomb.

Breakfast was great—loved the omelet with feta and spinach. They have a large selection of breads, perfect for any taste. It’s especially nice early in the morning when it’s quiet. Skipped their famous raisin bread—not my thing.

Sadly, this was my third and final visit. They say third time’s the charm, but unfortunately that was not the case here. This bakery has a long history in Ellenville, known for its delicious goods prepared with care. I’m referring specifically to the baked items made by Heric Helmutt, the baker who has spent many years crafting the wonderful treats that once distinguished this place. The warmth of the former owners made it a pleasure to have worked there years ago, and I was happy to see that they still sell the breads, cookies, danish I always enjoyed. However, my recent experiences have been disappointing.
