My Family Market Restaurant

This place was my fiances favorite food for months and months. We ate there numerous times per month. They over charged us a few times but the food was worth it so we didn't do anything but the last time we went there the burrito had random spots of SEVERE spiciness. It was BAD and so random. We tried figuring out where the spice was and couldn't find it so it was in very few random bites which made it worse. One bite was so bad my fiance was hyperventilating and tearing up and her chest got tight. She couldn't finish the burrito we had paid 17$ for bc the random spots of spice. Please keep in mind this was her favorite food and her comfort food. We have both gotten a lot of this exact burrito from there countless times and it was never spicy in the least. Came from Long Island to visit a friend up in Kerhonkson. And he showed me this GEM of a place. Easily some of the best Birria tacos let alone any taco I’ve had. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND COME HERE

The food here is amazing!!! They cook with so much love, taste like there cooking at home, so comfortable when you dine in, If you’re taking your food out, just as amazing, I love it here thank you family market !!!!!!

This place is definitely a hidden gem. We were just passing through Ellensville on the way back from the Catskills area and took a chance on this little deli tucked away in the middle of town. The food is so authentic and yummy. They even had chocolate covered strawberries and churros on the menu which we ordered and were really delicious! Prices were more than reasonable. Would totally recommend if you want the closest thing to a home cooked meal you can get :)

We needed a quick stop before continuing a long road trip and ordered Torta Cubana, steak burrito and carnitas quesadilla. The staff is friendly (gave my tantruming child a lollipop), the service is quick, and everything is amazing! Such a gem in the center of the town.
