Cohen's Bagel Company

Spent a few days again on the shore and of course Cohens Bagels is a must stop. We have been coming here periodically since they first opened. Bagels are delicious and the place is very comfortable. Seating inside and out. Lots of parking. Highly recommended.

Funny enough this was my first experience with Cohen’s Bagel this past week and I’m sorry I waited. The place was really busy but it didn’t affect the quality or the taste of the coffee or bagels. You will probably have to wait a small amount of time for your food but it’s well worth it. The eat in area is large enough to enjoy your food without sitting right on top of one another.

So I strolled in after church on a Sunday with my fiance because she wanted a bagel. Quick Google search led me here. Thank God it did because everything on this menu is AMAZING. The "cardinal" sandwich was 5/5 AMAZING and my fiance had their regular plain bagel with cream cheese and this place is AWESOME. If you are ever in Middletown CT I highly recommend this place.

As a New Yorker, I can say definitely best bagels in the area and even better than some of the New York bagels. I come often and every time i buy bagels (different kinds) they are very good. Everyone in my family loves it. However, it would be nice that there is an option for healthy whole wheat bagels (without added sugar) for those who can’t eat regular bagels. Also, Few other things: Smoothies- are not made on premises and personnel don’t know if they made out of fresh fruit without added sugar. For that reason I couldn’t buy it. Order pick up- after ordering you have to wait inside to hear your name called. If you sit outside you can’t hear it. Hope that improves. UPDATE I went again on Sunday and it was very chaotic. A nice place for brunch or breakfast in the morning. Their staff and setting are excellent. Their bagel, however, was not so good. I tried their everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese but it wasn't particularly soft and chewy. Also, their standard black coffee has a warm water flavor.
