Cockadoodle Dan’s Wings & Steaks

Saw a pic online of an amazing looking cheesesteak so I took the drive to find out. The sauce is amazing, there is plenty of meat and cheese, and the boneless wings are pretty good as well. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a damn good cheesesteak or chicken cheesesteak.

This small shop on Main Street in Moorestown seems to be more of a takeout favorite than an eat-in spot. I watched several people pick up orders while I was there, but nobody else ate in-house. It was fairly busy, so it took 20 min for my order of the Batman & Robin and Cooper Sharp cheese fries to be ready. That plus a bottle of water totaled $30. And I paid cash, which saves you 4%. The Batman & Robin was good and unique, but was it in my top 10 cheesesteaks? No. The fries were overly salted in some areas and had no salt in others. They did not skimp on the cheese. My honest opinion? If I'm going to spend that much on a cheesesteak, I'll go to Lillo's, which is better in quality, quantity and ratio of meat/cheese, and taste. Split a few steaks with friends. On advice of the staff we tried the batman & robin - totally worth it. A mix of chicken & steak, sauced with a touch of heat. We ordered take out & it held up well for when we ate it back home. Saw a few dine in customers eating wings, looked really good - we'll have to get those next time!

Ordered here for the first time off Doordash today and the food was so, so bad. Burger, advertised as having toppings and sauce on a grilled bun, came with no toppings, no sauce, a soggy bun, and the driest burger patty known to man. Thought the chicken tenders would be good based on how they looked, and then pulled one open and saw it was slimy. Inedible. The only thing decent was the fries. Waste of money, and the items weren't cheap.

I was excited to try Cockadoodle Dan's, but it turned out to be a Cockadoodle Dud. Took my daughter, nephew to try what was rumored to be one of the best upcoming cheesesteak spots and was disappointed. 1. Ordered a few minutes before 6, didn't receive my food until 6:46 and that was only after I went up and asked when it would be ready. The cheese fries and wings I ordered were still not ready and would not be brought out for another 10 minutes. 2. The cheesesteak was average.
