You should not miss this place, it’s so perfect, really reminds me of being back home In London with all the freindly Turkish communities. Zena has bought a little piece of Europe to Moorestown and you can all benefit from the cultural exchange if you give it a chance. Walk around the store and review the shelves, they have seamlessly blended sellable items into the cafe, you can literally buy plates, groceries, cook wear, olive oil all while enjoy the excellent food in the same store, it’s genius. I highly recommend you sample the baked goods and the baclava, it’s a Turkish sweet treat that all Americans would love if they give it a chance. A perfect place if you’re looking for good coffee paired with delicious desserts and pastries. All of their desserts and pastries look amazing and it’s honestly hard to choose. I tried the blueberry cheesecake, pistachio baklava, and spinach spanakopita, and all of them were 10/10. Paired with their coffee, it’s the perfect combo to enjoy. I’ll definitely be back to try something from their breakfast and lunch menu, since I arrived after 3 PM when the kitchen was already closed.

By Zena has excellent coffee (try the flat white!), phenomenal cheesecakes, Turkish pastries (yay pistachio!), and delicious breakfast and lunch options (both traditional as well as savory options, and the simit (Turkish bagel) is so good!), with a really nice decor/atmosphere. I’ve been here multiple times for take out coffee and desserts, as well as dine in, and it’s become a go-to place for me. I also ordered a pie from there for Thanksgiving, and it was delicious!

I’ve come to Zena’s more than a few times now since it opened in September and each time it’s been delightful in a different way. The pastries are great and coffee is delicious! The service is excellent, and I love the decor. The only thing I’d have to say is that it’s hard to bring my friends with nut allergies here because there aren’t a lot of options for them. The baklava is made with walnut flour which causes a problem, and even the pistachio baklava that is supposed to only have pistachio seems a bit risky. One of my friends with a nut allergy ordered a caramel latte and started to get an allergic reaction. I don’t think she should have been getting a reaction when she ordered something she thought would be safe. Other than that, I love Zena’s and will continue to come!

We visited By Zena in Moorestown and really enjoyed our experience! We ordered a cappuccino, red velvet cake, coconut milk cake, biscoff caramel cake, and a three-cheese Mediterranean pastry; everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was very kind and accommodating, letting us sit even though we arrived close to closing time. Since the kitchen was closed by then, we couldn’t try the sandwiches, but we’ll definitely be back earlier next time to try them. A lovely spot with great vibes!
