Coastal Fermentory Uptown

Happy First Birthday!!!! Great brewery in uptown Newport News with Bun Stuff serving delicious hot dogs and nachos in a scrumptious variety of ways. Nice selection of home taps from the Coastal Fermentory brewery location at the Shipyard in Newport News, plus amaze-balls guests taps from Adriot Theory! Customer service from kick-ass beertenders and live music to boot, this place is a must go for craft beer drinkers, hot dog lovers, and football watchers.

Great selection of craft beer… plus wine, a few ciders, and nonalcoholic options available. The food menu has expanded. In addition to gourmet hog dogs, you can also get loaded mac, nachos, chili, and dessert. The staff is friendly and efficient.

Coastal Uptown is a great spot to hang out and get some great drinks. Any previous sound issues with the place have improved greatly with them putting in insolation. The new furniture also adds to the overall homie feeling of the place. Food choices are limited, but what you get is tasty and satisfying. Coastal also has some of the best beers in the area and for those who do not enjoy beer, their slushes, wine, hop water, and kombucha all make for delicious and unique alternatives.

Visited for the first time for the Sip and Sing Pop up Choir with Melissa and MVC Performance. SO MUCH FUN!!! Great vibes and harmonies, great beer and great food! Love the atmosphere, can’t wait to come back for some more singing and more drinks!

Delicious beers of all styles, low ABV kombucha, and seltzers in a sparkling new space with more indoor customer seating than the downtown location. Lots of glass windows and several glass garage doors for when the weather is nice. Onsite kitchen serving hot dogs (see photo of menu).
